Charlotte Esports & Gaming Arena

The UNC Charlotte Esports & Gaming Arena within the Popp Martin Student Union late spring 2025. Located on the mezzanine level, the brand new esports and gaming space on campus is outfitted with 31 competition ready PCs, an iRacing Rig, designated lounge space, and a console docking station to play at a moments notice. 

We aim to be the heart of gaming on campus, bringing together all varsity, academy and recreational esports players to a space we can call our own, while also serving as a launching point for academic development and professional collaborations within the gaming industry on and off campus.

The esports and gaming arena is open to any and all UNC Charlotte students, staff and faculty. We hope to see you here!

Spring 2026 Hours:

Daily, 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.

*Check back for special hours for summer and academic breaks.

 

Before you arrive:

  • No food is permitted in the arena.
  • Drinks with resealable lids are only permitted in the lounge area.
  • No drinks are permitted at the gaming stations.
  • All users must have a valid UNC Charlotte ID.
