Chapter 1: General Conduct
a. A selection of university policies is listed below. patrons of the arena are expected to adhere to ALL university policies found here.
A. All patrons of the UNC Charlotte Esports & Gaming Arena must agree to comply with UNC Charlotte rules, regulations, and policies (https://legal.charlotte.edu/policies) and Student Centers policies and procedures. Patrons must also comply with appropriate state and federal laws, and fire and police department rules and regulations. Student Centers staff reserves the right to take necessary and appropriate action to protect the safety and well-being of the arena, property within the arena, and the patrons who are using or visiting the arena.
i. Stealing, defacing, mutilating, or destroying (or attempted destruction) of materials, buildings, property, equipment, or personal property. NCGS 14-455, NCGS 14-72, UNC Charlotte Code of Academic Integrity, and UNC Charlotte Code of Student Responsibility.
ii. Moving furniture or equipment in a way that interferes with the operation of the arena. This includes blocking safe travel into and through the building, or access to fire exits. University Policy 601.13.
iii. Disruptive behavior which disturbs arena use (including rowdiness, excessive noise, loud or inappropriate cell phone conversations, and offensive or inappropriate sexual behavior). UNC Charlotte Code of Student Responsibility. NCGS 14-132, NCGS 14-288.4, NCGS 14-190.9 , 14-196, 14-202,
v. Failing to provide valid identification when requested to do so by a staff member. UNC Charlotte Policy 721.
