A. Use of arena computers is governed by the UNC Charlotte Standard for Responsible Use and local, state, and federal laws. These laws and policies cover such areas as illegal access to computer systems, networks, and files; copyright; and harassment.

B. Patrons are not permitted to share their credentials with individuals who would otherwise not have access to the PC stations or the arena.

C. Patrons are expected to access the PC stations with the same credentials used to tap or scan into the Esports & Gaming Arena space.

D. Patrons are expected to use the PCs as intended with the predownloaded software and games provided through the university’s gaming center management software, GGLeap.

E. Patrons are not permitted to personalize arena PC homescreens, alter any standard arena PC settings, or utilize the PCs for any other purpose other than gaming (examples include rendering, game development, video editing, etc.)

F. Patrons are allowed to bring their personal equipment such as mice, keyboards, and headsets and are allowed to plug them into any station that they are using.

a. Patrons should be advised that there is no guarantee that the peripheral software will be downloaded onto the PCs and the arena is not responsible for any damage incurred to any personal equipment while in the gaming & esports arena.

G. Patrons may use all arena provided peripherals at each station, however these peripherals may not be moved at any time, for any reason - and may not be used on any personal equipment brought into the arena (tablets, laptops, etc).

H. The iracing rig located in the esports & gaming arena is preloaded with licensed software, tracks, and paint schemes for Charlotte Esports. Patrons are not permitted to make purchases of any kind through the arena provided CLT Esports iracing account. This includes any tracks, DLC, or paint schemes for competitive, recreational, personal, or public use.

I. Patrons on the iracing rig are not permitted to engage in messaging or chats of any form to other competitors through the iracing account - verified voice channels are permitted in official competitions for the Charlotte Esports iracing team or Niner Esports Club iracing team.

a. Patrons are permitted and encouraged to login to their personal game accounts and software licences during play sessions.

b. The arena and its staff will not be providing access or login credentials for any “loaner” accounts, outside of the CLT Esports iracing account for the iracing rig/simulator.
