A. Reservations and Daily Time Limits

a. Official reservations of the arena and its stations are only to be made by the esports program director for Charlotte Esports Varsity teams, Niner Esports Club teams, or approved 3rd party collaborators.


b. Charlotte Esports and Niner Esports Club teams may only reserve up to 10 PCs each at any given time for a maximum of a 3 hour block.

i. Exceptions permitted by Esports Program Director and/or Student Center Director for tournaments or other special events.


c. During open hours, no PC may be reserved for anyone at any time, and are on a first come first serve basis.


d. Each patron will be given 3 hours of PC usage upon entry to the arena. The patron may utilize their time as they wish, but be advised that the clock begins upon login through gg leap.

i. If a patron exceeds their time limit when the arena is at 95% capacity or more, they may be asked to leave the arena so other patrons can use the space.

ii. They may not leave their station and try to recheck in for another hour.


e. If a patron exceeds their time while they are not at their station, arena staff will gently pack away their equipment and effects, and turn them into front desk lost and found.

B. Requesting Additional Games or Software

a. Should there be any interest in adding software or other games into the approved software list for the arena, patrons may do so through leaving a feedback form available through a QR code at the front desk.

i. Should any software be requested by 30 unique individuals within the time frame of 1 semester, said software will be reviewed and may be added by arena staff.


b. Patrons may request that peripheral software be added to the gaming stations.

C. Bags and Storage

a. Patrons are responsible for their personal belongings and should not block pathways or access to equipment with personal belongings.


b. Lockers are provided at the entrance of the Gaming & Esports Arena.


c. Arena staff reserve the right to request that patrons place belongings in the storage lockers if belongings are blocking pathways or access to equipment.
